Saaskly

Vendors can now correct their Saaskly listings. The scores stay ours.

London, 21 September 2026. Prices change, plans get renamed and features ship between one review and the next, and the people who notice first are usually the vendors. From today a software company can tell us directly. Saaskly's vendor portal is open at saaskly.com/portal/login, and any correction we accept goes on the page with a dated "Vendor-confirmed" label, so you can see which facts came from the source.

For readers the gain is simple: listings that stay accurate for longer, with the provenance of every fact on show. For vendors it replaces the two options most review sites offer, which are to pay for influence or to watch an error sit on the page.

To take part, a vendor registers with a work email on its own domain (personal mailboxes are rejected) and confirms that it is authorised to speak for the product. It can then send corrections to facts on a listing, pricing updates, links to documentation or comparison sheets, and offers of an affiliate link or a link exchange. Everything arrives as text or a link; we take no file uploads. A company whose product we have not reviewed can request a listing, and any vendor can suggest a category we do not yet cover, which helps us decide where to expand next.

Every submission is read by an editor before anything changes. Accepted factual corrections and pricing updates are applied to the listing and earn the Vendor-confirmed label. Offers of links become binding only when we accept them in writing, and they are disclosed on the pages they touch. Requests for a listing are an invitation to our editors, not a promise: whether, when and how we review a product stays an editorial decision.

None of this reaches the score. Products on Saaskly are ranked on what they do, what they really cost on both billing terms, how reliable they are and how the vendor behaves once you are a customer. A vendor cannot change a score, a ranking or a verdict through the portal, and cannot buy one anywhere else on the site.

"Vendors are often the first to know when a listing needs updating, and readers benefit when they tell us," said Tim Meredith, editor of Saaskly. "What we will not do is let that channel become a back door for inflating rankings. Suggest a correction and we will check it. The score is ours to calculate."

Because every Saaskly page also has a Markdown version and the catalogue is open through a free MCP server and REST API, a verified correction reaches AI assistants at the same time as it reaches the page. If you ask an assistant what a product costs and it answers from Saaskly, it answers from the corrected figure.

The portal follows the site's public launch on 11 September (read the announcement). The rules for contributors are in the Vendor Contributor Terms and the Editorial Policy. Readers who spot something wrong on any page can still simply email help@saaskly.com.
