Saaskly

VEED

London-built browser editor with the broadest AI toolkit at the low end (captions in 125+ languages, dubbing with lip sync, avatars, a usage-priced API), priced in GBP from £10 a month on annual billing, but double that month-to-month and capped at three editors.

VEED (VEED Ltd, London; founded 2018, Sequoia-backed, ~US$50M ARR in May 2026) is the strongest of the web editors for a UK marketing team: a multi-track timeline, screen and camera recorder with teleprompter, a remote podcast recorder for up to eight guests (from its 2021 Welder acquisition), auto-subtitles in 125+ languages, text-based editing and Magic Cut, Clean Audio, filler-word removal, eye-contact correction, voice clone, AI dubbing with lip sync in 50+ languages, and a Gen-AI Studio with Tavus-powered avatars and VEED's own Fabric talking-video model, which is also sold as a REST API with no minimums.

Pricing is shown in sterling: Creator £116 a year (£9.67 a month) or £20 month-to-month; Pro £206 a year or £35; Studio £412 a year or £70 (a month-to-month premium of over 100%, the largest in this category). AI is credit-metered (500/2,500/15,000 a month, no rollover, annual plans get the year's pool up front), dubbing is 30 minutes a month even on Pro, every plan below Enterprise is capped at three editors, SSO and reviewers are Enterprise-only, and the refund policy is strict: nothing back once the service has been used. Trustpilot is a healthy 4.2 on 3,833 reviews; complaints are bugs and slow uploads, AI output that burns credits, and support that goes quiet.

Not yet tested by Saaskly: assessed on VEED's published pricing, feature set and third-party reviews (G2 4.6 on ~2,100).

*How we calculate minimum commitment. Headline per-user prices hide the real cost of trying a platform. Total cost of ownership is licence × seats × term, plus usage, add-ons, setup fees and any early-exit charges. Our "minimum commitment" figure is the floor of that: the entry plan's committed rate × the minimum seats the vendor will sell × the months you must commit to (one month at the month-to-month rate where there is no commitment; the licence price where it is sold per year). It deliberately excludes usage, add-ons and prerequisite licences, so your real first bill will be higher, but never lower than this. One-off licences show the licence price; Camtasia is sold per year only. Prices are as shown to a UK buyer: Apple, Adobe (individual) and app-store prices include VAT, most SaaS vendors exclude it; see each profile.
