## Our review

Sprout Social (Chicago, founded 2010, public since 2019, ~$480M revenue, 30,000+ brands) is what large teams buy when social is a customer-service channel as much as a marketing one: the Smart Inbox, review management, listening (paid add-on, G2's #1 for Spring 2026), competitor reports, employee advocacy and integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk and Dynamics. Every user is a paid seat: Essentials $99 monthly / $79 annual for 5 profiles, Standard $199 annual (~$249 monthly), Professional $299 (~$399) for unlimited profiles, competitor reports and approvals, Advanced $399 (~$499) for the public API, external approvers and AI enhancements, so a three-person team on Professional is close to $900 a month on annual billing.

Networks: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn Company Pages, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, Reddit and WhatsApp (Google Business Profile only as a reviews source). There is no official MCP server, only community wrappers around the API. USD only. Trustpilot is 1.7/5 on 85 reviews, 71% one-star, almost all about annual contracts that auto-renewed after cancellation attempts; G2 (4.4, ~7,400) tells the feature story.
