## Pros and cons

**Pros**

- Clear GBP pricing; API included on every plan
- Cheapest AI-search add-on per prompt

**Cons**

- AI add-on excludes Copilot, Claude and Grok
- Two overlapping GEO products (add-on and SE Visible) confuse buyers

*How we calculate minimum commitment. Headline per-user prices hide the real cost of trying a platform. Total cost of ownership is licence × seats × term, plus usage, add-ons, setup fees and any early-exit charges. Our "minimum commitment" figure is the floor of that: the entry plan's committed rate × the minimum seats the vendor will sell × the months you must commit to (one month at the month-to-month rate where there is no commitment; the licence price where it is sold per year). It deliberately excludes usage, add-ons and prerequisite licences, so your real first bill will be higher, but never lower than this.

## Our review

SE Ranking publishes UK pricing outright: Core £95 month-to-month or £76 annual (1 seat, 2,000 keywords tracked daily, 250k audit pages, 25k API credits) and Growth £209/£167.20 (3 seats, 5,000 keywords, 2M audit pages, 100k API credits). Its AI Search add-on is £69/£55.20 a month for 200 prompts on Core (450 on Growth) across AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT (the most prompts per pound of any suite here), and a separate SE Visible product handles heavier GEO tracking.

The data is smaller than Ahrefs' (2.7–2.9 trillion backlinks, ~420 million domains) and the add-on skips Copilot, Claude and Grok, but the platform API is included on every plan and Trustpilot is a healthy 4.3/5 from 707 reviews. No MCP server found. SE Ranking was one of the four platforms we tested at length before settling on Ahrefs + Geogen: a genuinely good value option that lost on data depth and the combined toolset rather than on price or reliability.
