## Our review

MultiPortal (Sydney; launched December 2024) adds what Proxmox lacks for service providers: virtual data centres, unlimited reseller tiers, quotas, RBAC with LDAP/SAML/OAuth, tenant impersonation, white-labelling, usage tracking (allocation and pay-as-you-go) exposed via API, and a VMware-to-Proxmox Migrator. It manages multiple Proxmox clusters and sites and ships a REST API, webhooks and a Terraform provider.

It does not do invoicing or payments itself (usage feeds your billing platform) and it is Proxmox-only by design. It is young (v1.x; IPAM and virtual routing still on the roadmap), but the pricing is transparent and the free tier is real. Together with Proxmox VE it provides the full CMP functionality (tenancy, resellers, usage tracking, migration) that the integrated stacks charge far more for, which is why the two share first place.
